HSG is ideally performed between Day 7 and Day 10 of your menstrual cycle u2014 after menstruation has ended but before ovulation. Please call our booking team with the first day of your last period so we can schedule appropriately.
Most women experience some cramping during and shortly after the procedure, similar to menstrual discomfort. We recommend taking a mild analgesic (such as ibuprofen) 30u201360 minutes before your appointment. Severe pain is uncommon.
